Today is a cold 39 deg wet day so we decided to drive an hour north to Austin to visit. Good day for an inside activity, and we all know my wife loves museums….
Overall nice Prez Library. It’s not about politics, but about history. We have been to Nixon’s, and Truman’s. I thought it would be bigger, cause everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas… Well the Alamo is kinda small, and LBJ’s Library has 3 floors in a 10 story bldg. The replica of the Oval office is 1/8 scale, and floors 3 thru 9 are for documents and books. But it was big enough to tell the story.
I thought the flow and layout was pretty good as we (I) went through each exhibit history that I remember ( mostly😳). I would highly recommend you visit if you can.
