Synopsis of the past Nineteen Days Wildwood, FL
|
Wildwood, FL
We have been at Wildwood for the past nineteen days. We have done so much and it was good to be able to be in one place for a while.
The oil was changed in the truck. She got new shoes. Maintenance of the rig to include greasing the undercarriage to name a few. The outside TV is working now with the satellite and HDMI cable. It was nice to watch baseball outside enjoying a cold one.
George worked alot so our afternoons were spend roaming the area. What a community The Villages are. All of these separate subdivisions surrounding golf courses. Every kind of store, shop, eatery, medical and financial help you could want is there. We enjoyed the close proximity of everything!
We ate at a fantastic Cuban Restaurant called “Chicken Time”, twice. Originally it only sold rotisserie chicken but expanded to include Cuban and Puerto Rican foods. Mofongo is really good!
A BBQ placed called Oakwood had great baby back ribs. Finger licking good.
I took a jewelry class to brush up on my techniques. Not too rusty which is good. I spent alot of time putting necklaces and bracelets together. Final finishing coming soon!
Browntown had weekend festivals. Found some good french pastries, cheese and bread.
We really like the area and the convenience. Settling in the area in the far future is a possibility!
Tomorrow we start going North!
