AM: As so happens when you talk to other RV’ers about places you have stayed, you will inevitably get mixed reviews. That was the case with Peace River in Wauchula, FL. Some said it was wonderful, others said it was the pits. We kept an open mind and found it to be very nice. We like the resort type RV parks but we also like the outdoorsy ones too. This park is not as sophisticated but the surrounding nature areas make up for it. Also there isn’t much to do around it so you have to go and travel to find things to do! Well that is what we are about so we are very happy.
Our drive from TTO (Thousand Trails Orlando RV Resort) to here was filled with orange groves. We had the windows down and what a wonderful sweet smell. I don’t think we have every seen so many.
So in keeping with tradition we are having dinner at Nicholas Family Restaurant. Good food reasonable priced.
Tomorrow some exploring of our new area.
