G: We left Lake George at 830 and after 350 miles and 8 hours we arrived at our “out in the country” home about 40 miles south of Quebec City. The owner of the campground greeted us in French…. ah Parlavue anglish?? Ok, now we are good. Smallest campground ever, for a big rig.
Smallest campground ever, for a big rig. We had to maneuver around a small pond and our site was under some power lines that were about 12 1/2 foot off the ground. Yep, we won’t fit. So I had to back up in a horseshoe parallel to the power lines and behind some trees. Had a nice Quebec camper try to help, but the language barrier was steep. My wife and I do well in these situations and I was able to find a safe piece of ground to set up.
A: Had dinner at the restaurant attached to the campground. Luckily our waitress spoke a little English. Tomorrow Quebec city.
