Montreal, Canada
So we took of this afternoon to Montreal. No plans or itinerary just driving. As we approached the city you could see the Olympic Stadium and some huge amusement park next the mighty St. Lawrence River. We drove into the city center to get a feel of the city. At times it felt like the hustle and bustle of NYC. We parked and started walking into the old part. I love when cities restore and preserve their history. Alot of times it is easier to tear down and rebuild but it is not the same. The Basillica of Notre Dame was absolutely breathtaking. I know our pictures do not do it justice. We were luck enough to hear the organ being played and as you listened, the music filled your soul. I hope the video sounds good! <a href=”http://www.travelpod.com/dashboar d/editor_album.cgi?uid=ramblinrecks& ;trip=1&entry=1467989491#”> </a> We saw a couple that had just gotten married and they had Rolls Royce limousines for the bridal party. WOW. It was a wonderful afternoon walking around this beautiful city.
