Elkhart, Indiana (RV Meca)
Yep we have been busy, busy, busy. I know, that is no excuse, so just a quick update.
We had a great time exploring Utah. One of the most beautiful states in America. We really enjoyed living in the southwest from October thru June. After spending 6 weeks visiting Idaho, Washington, and Oregon and enjoying the lush greenery, we left Pacific City, Oregon on 28 July. For the next 13 days we drove 2400 miles to an RV Rally in Goshen, Indiana.
We encountered more suspension problems, and after a week here in Elkhart, IN or so, we are finally getting new axles (warrantee) and hope to get back on the road.
Future plans are to visit friends in Spencer, IN for about a week. Here we have a list of repairs I must take care of on the BFT and trailer and Virgil has offered up his shop and tools.
After that we will head north to Minnesota to visit Ann Marie’s family for a week. Then head south to Eastpoint, FL where we will be hosting a small rally.
Then on to Savannah and Augusta to see our kids, grands, and friends until after Thanksgiving. Then head to Key West for the winter until March and visit with my favorite sister in Florida before we head back north again.
We are planning that 2019 will keep us east of the Mississippi and up the right coast.
In the mean time, we are going to catch up on some blogs here there.
Hard to believe that summer is almost over and Labor Day is upon us.
But we are well, and we hope you are too!
