We left to Buchanan Michigan for a 50 mile ride to Goshen Indiana to the Elkhart fairgrounds for the Forest River Owners Group rally. We came here last year and decided to return this year.. Great event with new and old friends and Forest River will repair your trailer if needed and within reason. Very customer centric.
We arrived at 11 o’clock and met a couple who weighs RVs for a living.So for $60 they weighed the RV and truck by each tire and will evaluate the load on each tire , on each axle, pin weight , and load distribution. More on that later.
This is really important because now that we are full-time and we have a lot more **** to carry around. Honestly we both have been very weight conscious about the RV but everything we own is with us…
Also. While here at FROG we’re going to have a shock absorber system installed on the suspension of the RV to help smooth the ride so it doesn’t rattle to death on our bumpy roads.
We only have just a few things that need to be repaired on the RV in Forest River will take care of that during the rally which is extremely awesome
