Frazier Lake, BC

6 September 2017

Traveling Hwy 16 east

We departed the campground about 1000 ( how did you guess?) and unlike our more recent drives, the road from Stewart to Prince George is Awesome! We were able to drive 55-60 mph for the first time in months!

After 250 miles, Ann Marie consults the Mile Post, (which she has learned to hate) and found us a dry camp spot in the town of Frazier Lake. She confirmed its existence with the “Days End” directory, and confirmed it is a FREE city campground at Swan Park on the shore of Frazier Lake.  No hookups, but free! We arrived at 1700, and 315 miles for the day, to find a well manicure, large campground, that was almost empty! Score!

The sun was out, so we sat outside, overlooking the water, watching the sun set. All is good.
