Ben and Jerry's Waterbury, VT

Waterbury, VT
After leaving the delicious lunch in Montpelier we headed to Waterbury to go to the Ben & Jerry’s factory. We got there in no time flat and only waited a few minutes for the tour. Four dollars each, not bad for a 30 minute tour. They took us upstairs, showed us a short movie, and we looked down at the factory floor and they explained the production process. We then went into the tasting room and were provided a sample of ice cream that they only make for the factory tours and not for resale. It was strawberry fudge. Delicious!
Of course we had to have a cone, I had Strawberry Cheesecake in a dipped waffle cone, and Ann Marie had a Butter Bourbon.
We went outside the factory and they had a graveyard for all deceased flavors. The inscriptions on the tombstones were pretty funny.
Good way to end the day. Good tours, good food and ice cream!
