Beautiful and Empty RV Park Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Canada

Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Canada
G: We left our very tight pond view RV park by Quebec City at 830am. After maneuvering through some road construction detours just SE of Montreal we arrived by 1230.
What an awesome sound I heard when I got out of the truck to to go register at the office, “Hello, and welcome” ! What no paravue anglish? No hand gestures? We had a nice conversation with one of the owners. She and her husband winter by Ft Meyers,FL. She honored our Passport of America discount for all four nights ($20). She jumped into her utility vehicle (not a CC) and we followed her through a 2 km road through apple orchards into a very nice, well manicured, laid out, and empty RV park. I can only guess that there is a another RV Resort about 5 km away with a huge water park that looked full to the brim. So who knows. We sat outside in our recently mowed grass while Ann Marie read her book and I watched the Braves game while drinking a Lemka.
AM: What a nice drive to this RV Park. We are finding the roads that are secondary do not get the attention they deserve with respect to filling pot holes and frost heaves. Our drive here was on mainly primary roads.
The calm and relaxing atmosphere here is refreshing. We are the type of people that we do not need all of the extras most RV parks have. Tennis courts, pools, water slides, etc are things we do not use so an RV park like this, more nature is great.
So our tradition continues with going out the first night. We started driving and ended up at the Shark Attack Restaurant. A fairly new place dedicated to burgers, hot dogs and fries. It was very good because it had been awhile since we had just a burger and fries.
Back home to enjoy the evening outside reading and watching the Braves. Thank God for satellite. We were able to get caught up on news, the last place we could not receive any news, so we both feel informed again!
