At Fort Belvoir

The trip was uneventful from four Oaks North Carolina as our toothless neighbors waved goodbye from their pop-up tent camper.

The roads were good except for the normal bridge abutments and traffic got very heavy as we got north of Richmond approaching Alexandria.

We got here for about 230 in the afternoon checked in with no problems and have a beautiful site. The Potomac river is just beyond the trees behind us. Fort Belvoir is a huge huge military installation responsible for logistics and procurement of basically everything that the military uses from beans to bullets and boots to bread to include fuel for NASA, Navy ships and tanks.

We begin our exploration of our great nations capital in the morning. Taking the buses and meto everywhere.

Oh btw, the BFT turned 125k miles today. When we first picked up our trailer, the BFT had 8k miles on the clock. Wow, from Key West to the Arctic Circle, to San Diego across to Prince Edward island and many states in between we are on an awesome journey.
